amitriptyline problem?       07/29/08 09:15 AM Edit Reply Quote annieb Reged: 10/01/07 Posts: 12 I've been on 10mg amitriptyline since February.Working so/so for mostly IBS symptoms but I've lately read that due to dry mouth it may cause gum problems/bleeding, etc. I noticed I have been having this type of issue with bleeding gums off and on now as well.
