Raw foods and the IBS person

I have been reading various raw food books and am really interested in incorporating some of these meals into my diet. (being vegan, it will automatically avoid many triggers)

I am wondering how to safely do this. I noticed that the main ingredients of these dishes are often insoluble fiber. (nuts, dates, prunes, apples, onions, garlic, etc.)

Maybe I could cushion it with crackers, or bread.

What are your thoughts on the matter?
