Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Advil and Antibiotics!!!

I just had a dental procedure three days ago. I had to take amoxicillan for my heart murmur (six pills for the one day) and I have been taking advil liquid caps for two days for pain. I went to the bathroom this morning and I saw a few very light, bright red traces in my stool!!!!!!! I went to the bathroom the day of my procedure and everything was fine. This is only the second time in my life I've had red in my stool (once when I was really, really, really plugged up). Do you think I am going to be okay?!?!? Everything else about my bowel movement was normal, but I am wondering if the advil and antibiotics might have irritated me somehow. My mom says some medicines can be rough on the bowels. Is that true? Should I drink more water? Milk? I know that Advil can cause bleeding, right? Today was my first day off both advil and antibiotics, so I hope things will clear up. Can someone give me some advice or help me calm down a little? I am really worried.--Frodo
