I suffer IBS D, more towards A now, I've discontinued Immodium and have been trying to consume fiber. Everyone one of them (listed below) has had some side effect or another.

Right now I'm still taking Benefiber, but I've been getting itchy rashes since starting it, I haven't changed anything else in my diet, haven't changed soaps, shampoos nothing. So I'm guessing it has to be the Benefiber. Anyone else ever itch from taking it?

Heathers - I had allergic reactions (headaches, seemed to trigger my asthma as well) from it, and it didn't seem to help even approaching several teaspoons a day.

Fibersure - Terrible bloating and gas, but did seem to help quit a bit.

Benefiber (wheat dextrin) - This one seems to have helped the most, but for some strange reason I have been breaking out in rashes since starting it several weeks ago

I haven't tried Psyllium yet after reading it doesn't agree with most people. I also haven't tried Citrucel yet because it contains artificial colors to which I don't consume in my diet.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
