Why won't anyone invent something for us who can't have dairy?

There's no whipped cream or decent icecream or milk substitute here in Australia.
I can't have a lot of aussie classics like scones and pikelets with jam and whipped cream.

I get by on gross soy milk and I tried rice milk and it was barf.

I heard those who can't have lactose can just take a tablet and have lactose with no worries. Why haven't they invented such a tablet for us?
I can't eat even a little chocolate without crippling pain, gas and D.

Is anyone out there working on this for us? I feel like no-one talks about IBS because it's a poo disorder and they're too embarrassed.
