I know beef is a trigger for IBS but why? Is it the higher fat content (m)

or something else. Every now and then I'll try a little bit, (organic, low fat, preservative free, no hormones etc) and still react the next day with increased BM's and just not feeling great. I have given up on trying it anymore. I just wondered why it is such a trigger. I can eat turkey burgers fine, chicken etc.
