After many tests, my Gastro doc told me I had IBS. Now I find out I have adhesions from a colectomy 9 years ago which are causing a partial small bowel obstruction. When I have an attack or spell of abdominal pain and diarreah, I know to start liquids or soft foods and rest. Is the diet for IBS the same one I need to follow? I can't seem to find out what to eat or not eat although it seems very similar to the IBS plan. Thanks for any advice!
