I'm sorry that your husband doesn't understand that it's not all in your head & I don't have any advice for you - sorry. I just wanted to say that I can relate to how IBS can just come on. I have D mostly, & it started less than 2 years ago. Bam! When I would get my period I'd have to run to the bathroom all day. After a couple of months I was diagnosed with IBS & endometriosis. I am amazed how it just hit me one day, no warning signs. I am doing the hypnosis CD's I think they are helping & the last CD is about talking to people about IBS (which I haven't gotten to yet).
