IBS and GERD?       03/12/08 06:19 AM Edit Reply Quote Laurastr1 Reged: 12/24/07 Posts: 120 Loc: Chicago Anyone else here with both IBS and GERD, and taking meds for GERD? I had GERD first and the meds worked pretty well but since also developing IBS I have more break through symptoms. I plan to discuss this with my GI. I was on Nexium originally through my PCP then when I starting seeing the GI he switched me to Zegerid. So, if you have IBS and GERD do you have breakthough heartburn and how often?
