IBS and GERD       02/22/08 06:12 AM Edit Reply Quote Laurastr1 Reged: 12/24/07 Posts: 120 Loc: Chicago I have GERD which is usually under good control as I take Zegerid. I'm also actively losing weight which should help the GERD. However, if I eat something that doesn't agree with me (like experimenting with strawberrries yesterday), after the stomach discomfort from IBS, I get reflux symptoms and they persist on and off the rest of the day, desptite the fact that I'm on a strong reflux med that I take twice a day. Then I'm popping TUMS on and off the rest of the day.
