It's different for everyone - I am up to 10 grams a day (about 5 teaspoons - 2 in the morning and 3 in the evening), and I still get soft BMs. The D and C are actually starting to improve somewhat. But other people stabilize lower, and others (particularly those who are predominantly C) need more.
