Re: What pain killers work for you?       02/14/08 05:57 AM Edit Reply Quote melinda413 Reged: 05/09/07 Posts: 71 Loc: Findlay, OH Good luck with that, I have had 5 surgeries in the last 8 months, 2 being intense painful mastectomies. I stopped taking the vicodin I was on within 48 hours of being released because I didn't go to the bathroom for like a week afterwards. Valium helped a little and didnt have that much of an effect on me going to the bathroom. BUt it's not really a pain killer, it's more of a muscle relaxant.
