i'm a bit confused here by some of the posts. i have IBS. i do not have colitis or crohns. i have the pains sometimes at night, which i think for the most part is gas pain. it will wake me up. i usually go to the bathroom, no BM at this time of night, usually never, unless i really had something bad to eat or came down with a virus. I usually pass some of the gas and then can manage to get back to bed. Is this typical for other IBS people on this site? it's usually when i had some dairy or something oily. i also have a problem with acidity , so i sometimes get the burning too.
