Hello, Maria. I just went to that Salvation website you mentioned. It's a lot of information to take in but I've definitely never tried anything like it. I'm glad to hear it is helping you. If you read the reply I just posted for meg, I have found that lots and lots of water along with all of the insoluble fiber seems to help me. That seems similar to that website except that person doesn't think water is the liquid that will 'lubricate' enough. I am still very much in the experimentation stage, though, so I haven't identified exactly what causes my ups and downs. I am temporarily on Paxil, too, so that interferes with my identification process although it helps the constipation tremendously. Have you ever tried any medications? I've never been a big fan of medication but I got desperate at one point. I want to eventually control the IBS with diet and exercise alone, though.
How is your pain and nausea? Does the fat and sugar help that as well? The fat doesn't trigger spasms or cause nausea? I ate cheeseburgers and fries several times this past week and I have been nauseaus and bloated. Unfortunately I don't know if it is the meat, cheese, or fat.
