Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Eating out success & Happy New Year!

We went out for an early dinner at the neighborhood coffee shop which is quickly becoming my fav place to eat by necessity. They have a simple menu with breakfast food all day and other things I can order plain or dry. So I got the whitefish dry and a plain baked potato. I love that they have baked potatoes! Most chain places have fries or mashed. They were giving out champagne with dinner. I just had a sip to toast with dh and the kids (had their soft drinks). If I get sick I know within a half hour. It's been over an hour and I feel fine! Dh's b-day is Saturday and I know he is not too thrilled with the idea of going to this place for his b-day but I feel the most safe there righ now.

We are having tons of snow here in Chicago. We will be walking down the block to a neighbor's later for NYE. I want to wish everyone here a *Happy* and *Healthy* New Year! It really took me 45 years to truly get the "healthy" part!
