Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Acacia & Fibercon Questions.. Need help!

I didn't reorder my Acacia soon enough and I ran out yesterday. I have some Fibercon tablets I purchased when I went on vacation back in July. So I figure I could use them while I wait for my acacia order, which will arrive any day now. I read through the supplement information supplied by Heather, and found out how much fiber is in Fibercon. I was pretty shocked to find out two Fibercon tablets contain only 1 gram of soluble fiber, UGH! I'm up to 10 grams of fiber a day taking Acacia. If I were to take the same amount of Fibercon I would need to swallow about 20 pills throughout the day!! I'm not too sure about this approach as I just don't feel comfortable with that many pills, but I don't want to slide back down hill with my D. I've been doing so well for 2 months now and with Christmas right around the corner I'm dreading having an attack. Is there anything else I could take that would give me enough (10 grams) soluble fiber to keep me stable while I wait on my Acacia order to arrive?
