My guess would be that maybe the milk ingredients in the bars are a fairly nominal amount and haven't caused whoever suggested them any problems. Quite a few people are okay with small amounts of milk products, but that's not to say that a stabilizing tummy should assume this won't bother them. If you aren't sure, I'd avoid them. There are other bars that don't have any milk ingredients (Luna bars, for example) I would try instead.
