Hi,

So right now I'm going through a rocky period with my IBS, which I think can be mainly attributed to stress (job troubles, car troubles, etc.) This weekend I have to travel with my ultimate frisbee team to North Carolina, which is 6 hours away, and stay overnight for two nights staying in a hotel with a bunch of people. Usually, if I'm feeling unsure, I take an immodium before leaving. However, the last time I did that I was completely constipated for 2 days, and then cylced back into D, which is what I'm experiencing a bit of now. I'm planning on eating really safely, but I was wondering if anyone had any other advice for how to ward off any IBS issues in advance? I plan on bringing my fennel tea with me, and lots of safe snacks for me. I don't know if I should take half an immodium?? I already take two calcium a day and I don't think I should be taking 3?!? I'm sorry for the questions, I just know I'm going to be in a situation where the majority of the time the only restrooms availabe are portapotties, and you all know how "pleasant" they can be. So anything to help me not having to frequent those very often would be hugely appreciated! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
