Hi everyone, been really busy lately. Hope all of you are doing well and are safe and happy.
I have a couple of questions. The first is about instant tea powder. Before I was diagnosed with IBS, I used instant tea powder a lot, mostly for homemade hot drink mixes, but also to make up iced tea quickly. I know people who suffer from IBS have to be careful about the types of tea they drink. Does anyone have any thoughts, experiences, or knowledge regarding their IBS and instant tea powder? I haven't tried it in a long time, especially not since being diagnosed with IBS.
My second question is regarding cooking with soda - I find numerous recipes that use Sprite or 7-Up or Coca-Cola to cook with. Does cooking with soda diminish its bad effects on IBS? I know usually that cooking with alcohol like beer is usually for the flavor.
But I'm unsure if cooking with beverages that are normally bad for people with IBS is okay or not.
TIA everyone! Take care and many good blessings to you all.
