I really realized that I was flirting with bulimia. My problem was that I have severe reflux and my IBS. When I eat too much, and by too much it is sometimes just a whole sandwich instead of half, I feel real bad, get indegestion, and reflux up my food. I have had problems with naseau and finally just started making myself throw up so I could feel better. Then I got to the point where if I felt the least bit "off" I made myself throw up. Finally, I realized this was not doing me any good and my therapist helped me to get control it. Now, don't ge tme wrong sometimes I still feel the "want" to but I just think about the damage it is doing to my body and how hard I worked to get fairly stable and I usually win the battle.
