peppermint oil capsules       10/07/07 09:10 AM Edit Reply Quote pepperkitty Reged: 08/31/04 Posts: 7 Hello! I've had IBS-C for almost 15 years now. I've checked out this board a time or two, but I never really paid attention to the other things offered other than the diet. I can't drink tea of any kind. It sends my stomach crazy. But, I was reading today about peppermint oil pills and how important they are for someone with IBS. Some additional research on the subject brought me to this site. How long can you take these pills and can you take them if you are on birth control. I suffer from a panic disorder that I know is directly connected to my intestinal track and IBS. I read that peppermint oil capsules get rid of bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. As well as, aleviate some of the problems associated with IBS.
