Try Heathers Books and her Receipes they are simpleto make and i find them very tatsey.....I can say that it has been hard on my husband, he wanted to help in any way shape or form, I was mostly embrassed by my IBS-D to ask for help...It put a huge strain on or marriage but since finding this site and haveing lots of other people just like to vent to or ask questions without being embrassed things have settled back down he just leaves it alone unless I ask for help.....He is very supportive and I thank God for that everyday......As far as not getting out of bed, well its easier to sleep when you suffer from IBS-D (just my opinion) than it is to try and function in a daily basis....I alos hated going to the doctors office not only was it humilating but my doctors didn't seem to know any more than I did about what was wrong with me...Even had a few look at me and laugh, Yes I said laugh they would tell me there was no way I was passinf food as often and as fast I was claming...... I justed wnated to scream at the top of my lungs and when I was just about ready to give up and call it quits i found HelpforIBS.com, I love Heather for what she has done for all of us......Good Luck
