I think the bottom line here is you want to eat something that won't have an effect on you. If it bothers you, don't eat it. Many people are sensitive or allergic to wheat and don't realize it. I suppose you could take it out of your diet for awhile and see if you feel better, or not. All grains, by the way, especially wheat and corn, are commonly contaminated with fungal poisons, which can contribute to fungal problems, manifesting as IBS/IBD symptoms. If you've ever taken antibiotics, they are also fungal toxins.(People with IBD and IBS have found relief by eliminating grains and sugar til their gut heals and gets rid of the fungus/yeast).If you can eat it with no problems, count yourself lucky, and go make yourself a sandwich
