Since I started reading this site, I got off all vitamins I was on and then started eating differently. I got better, thank goodness. It took quite a while, but I'm definitely doing better. (IBS-C). I don't remember exactly how long it's been since I stopped them, but approximately four months ago. Just under a week ago, I decided to start my multiple vitamin again, as well as chromium picolinate (for metabolism) to see if anything happened. Funny thing is, we have had a lot of candy in our house for the last week or so, which of course, I've helped myself to. Yesterday I noticed that I was starting to bloat up again. I've read on here where regular over the counter vitamins aren't so good, so it definitely could be that, but I was just wondering if any one had any ideas on whether it's the vitamin by itself, the chromium picolinate, or even the candy that might have caused the bloating to resume? I'll probably end up stopping everything again, just to be sure, but wondered if any of you had a clue as to which one is the culprit.
