Got Heather's book and started incorporating the diet. My history is 9 months ago had a baby by emergency C section. Since then, I had a bout of "D" 1X in Feb, March, April...then in June 5 bouts, and this month 2 already. I hated the way it made me feel tired, shaky...so decided to change my diet.

Wednesday this week had a bad "blow out" day. 2 hours in the toilet...back and forth. Thursday, Friday..a bit stopped up...but solid BM's. Gave up all milk, wheat...Yesterday (Sat) we had 2 cookouts to go to. I ate a good Carb breakfast, had some rice cereal in the car. When I was out I had 4 pretzels with a tiny bit of dip. Then had 3 cheese curls, a bite of pulled pork(I mean a tiny bite)...and a roll. When I got home I had rice, chicken...and some Acacia(for the first time). Then later had a small bowl of rice cereal with rice milk.

This am I woke up a bit gassy. Then didn't had "D" but had small "ribbon" type poops at 8:30am, 9:30 am, and again at 10:30am. My stomach felt off...like it feels when I am going to have "D".

Could it have been the small amount of "bad foods" I ate? Or could it have been that I waited too long to eat something until evening? Or could it be the new addition of acacia?

Honestly, I don't get "d" daily...However, it just seems more and more that I am getting belly issues as time goes on.

I am also wondering if my gut flora is off...Is there anyone here who took a probiotic and symptoms got much better or went away?

Is there anyone here who just added the right amount of acacia(like the taste so much better than metamucil)...and they could eat what they want and symptoms went away?

My doctor doesn't think I have IBS since I don't get belly stuff daily? What do you all think?

Thanks so much for your help. I am a bit bummed out today...sore, and tired....
