I'm 15 weeks pregnant, am normally prone to D but think I've been headed towards constipation more although I go regular every morning. But I'm feeling what can be described as gas pockets/bubbles and almost like it's trapped. Then once it's trapped I get razor like pains in that area. It took my a while to figure out it wasn't a pregnancy issue but it seems a stomach issue. Still scary all the same. So I end up in horrible pain if I have to hold in the gas (not always appropriate to let it out!) and I end up taking Tylenol for the pain. I'm not taking Gas X daily as a preventative and have found the generic is much cheaper. I also started taking a small amount of Colace but after 2 days I already had the runs so now I might just take it if I am truly constipated. I just take it one day at a time.
