I had IBS-A for years....latest bouts lasted 6-9 months at a time. Went on Celexa a month and a half ago and within a week or so the symptoms are gone for the most part. Haven't been this regular in years. Its a small dose so I have not really noticed any side effects....a little tiredness for a few weeks, but no other problems and I am sleeping better... When you put it altogether I am pooping, sleeping and eating better than I have in years.....ask your doc....I had to ask mine to try it to see if it would work...she wasn't aware of this...
