When I go, it's in the morning too, right after I get up, usually after having gas and pain the previous evening. I might go a little at other times, but that's the main time. Honestly, I feel much better after getting it all out, so I usually feel great in the morning after going. Then as the day goes on, depending on what I eat, my symptoms start up again (mainly gas/bloating, and sometimes pain).
