Lettuce and corn tend to be tough Insoluble Fibers for a lot of people. I can eat both now but it took me a long time to get to that point. I wouldn't start with them when trying to add in IF.

You're probably better off eating your IF vegetables cooked at least to begin with. You can eat them as a side dish or in soups, stews, and casseroles. Once you're doing well with that you can cautiously try some raw veggies and see how you do.
