I don't use any supplements at all, personally... I've been able to get all the SF I need from food, doing exactly what Syl recommended.

Fennel is usually recommended for bloating and gas - you can try to get your hands on some fennel tea. It's really not that expensive (I'm speaking from the perspective of someone else who's unemployed, btw), and it might really help. I'm not sure how expensive they are, but something like Beano or Gas-X might help too. I've also found that it helps to stay active - especially yoga, lots of deep stretching.

Honestly, gas and bloating are the hardest symptoms to control, but should lessen as you stabilize. You may have to just bear it for a while more.
