I try not to take supplements to a great degree as I tend to react to other ingredients in them. I go for the food route as much as possible. You have to eat what works for you. Magnesium works on the C for me as does the Acacia. I'm doing great between the two. Bone density isn't an issue, I've been tested and alls well on that end. It's one thing in my favor at least. Do what you and your doc think is best for you. I power walk every night possible and do yoga.
