It will take some time to get the acacia to help out with the c but it will happen. I'm up to 1 tsp 3x a day and life is pretty great already. I've been using it for 2 weeks. I use Miralax for the c and have been for a couple of years now. It's been my saving grace as it's not habit forming and doesn't alter your rhythm internally. I hope to be able to quit using it as the acacia does it's job. Try Fennel tea- lots of it. You can also chew on a few seeds after you eat. It freshens your breath, helps gas and digestion. I make fennel tea alone or I add anise to it. I buy it in bulk at the health food store and grind it a bit before putting a few pinches in the hot water.
