hey everyone-
i have been suffering horribly with IBS for years. i have predominately C-type and often feel like movements are not complete. it is like pure hell. i can't go anywhere and just quit my job in part because of it. seems like my entire life revolves around diet and toilets. i am sure others here share my experiences.

getting off dairy seems to help a bit. however, the acacia fiber seems to make my symptoms worse. I have found that slippery elm bark powder does help a great deal. I put a heaping tablespoon of the powder into a shaker with 16 ounces of water and shake well. Then I let it sit for awhile to thicken and gel. Sometimes I add more water. I drink this on an empty stomach at least twice a day. People who have IBS-C might give this a try. Don't bother with capsules! I think the powder needs to be fully hydrated and gelled to work well. You also might try adding it to the acacia fiber and making a blend.

I have a question too about a product called Digestrin. Has anyone tried this product? There are so many scams out there but I figured someone here might have tried it. Thanks!
