I don't get "attacks" . I have problems on a daily basis with gas, bloating & pain, and I contribute this to stress & anxiety. I wake up in the morning, gas free, bloat free, & pain free. I have a BM almost every morning. By noon I am starting to bloat, and the pain is just beginning. By the time I get home at night, I have a back up of gas, bloating & pain. I do not pass gas during the day. I usually go upstairs about an hour before I plan on going to bed. I check my e-mail and check this message board. During that hour, I start to pass gas ( a lot of it). By the time I go to bed I am no longer gassy, bloated, or hurting. That is why I have narrowed it down to stress & anxiety. BUT, to answer your question - I don't have "attacks" in the same way that a person with D has.
