Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone else suffering from IBS symptons has considered being tested for allergies? Here's my story ~
First of all, Heather's web site started me out on my journey to better health - thank you so much Heather! I started seeing a naturopath last year and did a huge detox. When I still wasn't getting better (according to their blood/urine tests) they sent me off for an extensive food allergy blood test... Even my naturopath was surprised at how many foods I was allergic to!! Once I started avoiding these foods my health improved markedly - both according to the naturopath's tests and through my own awareness of my new-found health.
The good news is the food allergies aren't 'for life' and I have already started eating some of them again through homeopathic remedies and gradual reintroduction of my least sensitive foods.
