I have been doing so for about 2 months and immediately experienced sustained results. I'm even able to tolerate trigger foods much better. I've been "attack-free" with minimal mild systems only ocassionally. Since bananas act as a balancer to the digestive system, it helps prevent BOTH diarrhea and constipation and keeps you from getting into the whole IBS cycle-- at least for me it does.
