WOW! Thanks a bunch for all this info!!! What do you use to mash the beans--do you use any kind of beans or a particular kind? What's a good amount to eat when you first add it to your diet? (2 bites after a soluble fiber meal?) What ingredients do you use to make bean soup? That sounds yummy!

About peanuts and peanut butter, I'm not sure yet what I can and can't have I had my colonoscopy this past Thursday and I'm still awaiting the final results (my doc is 99% sure it's IBS). I've been on the basic foods only of Heather's diet for about 2 or 3 months now--but I'm still having pretty bad days (I'm guessing that if the stress is really out of control then diet may not be the solo answer?) If you have any suggestions I'd REALLY appreciate them! Thanks for everything TessLouise!!!
