Calcium supplements are different than SFS!       03/09/07 11:09 AM Edit Reply Quote Wind Reged: 04/02/05 Posts: 3178 The Caltrate Plus is different that a SFS (i.e. Fibercon). Continue to take the SFS, while adding the calcium supplement. I've had great success with Caltrate Plus. I have IBS-D and this supplement has not given me any negative effects. I find it very easy to swallow & love how the pills can be split in half easily. It's also very affordable, especially if one purchases it in large quantities, i.e. at Costco. or Sam's Club.
