really bad day       03/17/03 11:16 AM Edit Reply Quote lovejoy_22 Reged: 02/21/03 Posts: 309 Loc: Henderson, NC I went to the doctor last Monday and he found a hernia. He prescribed a prescription strength stool softener so that I would not strain. I stopped taking Zelnorm because it stopped working. Since I started taking the stool softener twice a day and continued to take metamucal I have only had 1 bm. My stomach is extremely bloated and I am having horrible cramps. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever been in the same situation. I don't know what to do other than take a laxative and I don't want to do that.
