I posted a short time ago asking about allergic reactions to Acacia. I broke out in a bad rash all over, and my tongue/mouth/lips/throat felt tingly and funny. Was on Zyrtec and a steriod thing for several days. Nothing helped until I stopped using the Acacia. Then, everything cleared up. I wanted to try it again, just to double check and because I really liked using it so this morning I used 1 tsp. and almost within 1/2 hours I started itching and my mouth is very tingly/wierd feeling again. So, I guess I am allergic to the Acacia and will have to not use it again, unfortunately! I have no other allergies to anything....food or seasonal, so this is a big surprise to me. Guess weird things happen. I didn't have any intestinal problems like you have though. But I suppose everyone's body would react differently to things. Good luck figuring it out.
