1) YOu should eat IF only with caution. When you get more stable you will be able to eat more IF than when you're totally flared up. IF is what makes you go so it's essential for us C-ers. 2) Mag Citrate is a gentle laxative. I use it and LOVE it. Can't say enough how much good it did to me. I only use it when I am unstable now, I was able to add enough IF to my diet to be able to go regularly without the use of it, but when I destabilize (say eat the wrong thing), I take it for the next couple of days while eating lower on the IF. 3) You are taking a lot of SF. Do you eat IF with it?
If I were you, I'd cut back on the SFS supplements (because too much fiber could cause bloating) and start the EFI diet. I'd also get Mag Citrate, so you'd have a way to go being on EFI initially.
Heather's diet works for C too, just we need to add much more IF than D-ers. It worked for me at least. I started the BTC diet, then slowly added IF. In the meantime I was taking Mag Citrate (because otherwise I woudn't go) until I was able to wean myself off it.
