Children with IBS       02/20/07 09:59 AM Edit Reply Quote Jackey Reged: 12/27/05 Posts: 32 Loc: Orlando, Florida I wonder if Heather or anyone out there can talk about children with IBS or Lactose Intolerance. I have a friend that has a daughter that after 11 years. Knowing that dairy was one of the major irritants for my IBS suggested she try eliminating dairy from her daughter's diet and, no more stomach aches! I feel badly that this girl had to go through 11 years of this before finding a solution. It has disrupted her focus in school and her grades have suffered because of it. Futhermore, she has learned a mode of behavior that is not healthy for her - that of being overly-reliant on her mother. Any advice on how to work with that? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
