Question about sigmoidoscopy       02/08/07 11:47 AM Edit Reply Quote Digby Reged: 07/31/04 Posts: 453 It's been about 8 years since I've had a sigmoidoscopy, and at that time the doctor gave me 2 enemas in the office and did the test right after. I have a different doctor now, and I have to do the 24 hour liquid fast, followed by the gallon of whatever-the-heck it is. Is that necessary for a sigmoidoscopy? I'm not looking forward to this, since D is a problem for me anyway and I'm too skinny to lose any weight. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
