I went from IBS-D, which I've had for probably around 14 years (last 5 years have been pretty bad), to mostly IBS-C in those 4 weeks. Hope not TMI, but I had bursts of smelly gas for about 3 weeks, which really freaked me out. I think I'm finally starting to get past the C a little, but the degree that nicotine was affecting my IBS has astounded me. I smoked for 27 years (quit once for 3 years many years ago).
