In further posts she said that it was because of its connection with MSG and she is extra sensitive to MSG. Not everyone is sensitive to MSG and carageenan is in almost all soy products. If someone is sensitive to MSG they cannot eat hydrolized proteins, yeast extract, etc.
So it would be a good idea for those who aren't as stable as they want to be to do a test of removing all MSG derivatives for a week or two- including carageenan.
