It may not get things moving as quickly as IF, but it will help. I have worked with champion body builders and a nutritionist. When bodybuilding, most people increase their protein intake. When you eat too much protein, you get kind of stopped up, or C. When that happens, they recommend eating sweet potatoes because it softens the stool, and helps you "go" along with the other fruits and vegetables you eat.
