Yes, there are blood tests that can be done to check for Celiac disease and stool tests that can check the rate your body breaks down food. Celiac disease is a disorder triggered by many proteins (Gluten) found in wheat and other grains. I would like to suggest you "Google" it to learn more and of course check with your physician to get accurate information. In this "gastro" world many conditions go mis-diagnosed so it's always best to be your own health advocate. Do your own research, talk to your doctor and have the necessary medical tests done to investigate what is truly going on for you.

You will find that what triggers one person's gut may or may not trigger another's. Keep a food journal that records any adverse reactions or the welcomed "happy tummy days" as well.

By the way, soy milk is a killer for me alone or with cereal. I can make a smoothie with it though. See, perfect evidence that each of our tummy's are uniquely ours to learn about

Oh yeah, they do make rice ice cream...the name isn't coming to me at the moment but I'm sure your local health food store will be able to help you out.
