Hi everyone, I've been observing/(okay, lurking) for months now, and I've finally joined and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jenna, I'm twenty years old. I've been diagnosed IBS-D for a few months, unofficially since whoknows. Upon diagnosis, I also had a bacterial infection in my intestines, and was given an antibiotic. I had a terrribbblleeee time with that medicine. It's been out of my system for a bit now, and things are going real smooth. On my follow up visit, she wrote me prescriptins faster than I've ever seen a doctor do, I read all about them, and the side effects/warnings alarmed me, I chose the more "natural" approach: watching my dietary intake, supplements, fiber, etc. I switched from Fibersure, to Acacia, (second day in, so far so good), I find peppermint tea helps me, ginger candy (okay, I just really like it regardless.) I meditate, always have, but I do it more seriously now, I don't eat red meat and very little dairy. I think that's all I got.
I tried really hard to make this short, but I failed. In conclusion, I've read all the new user stuff and i'm ready to get going. Nice to meet you, Jenna
