thanks for the info on the breath test. My GI didnt even suggest it. just wanted to do all the expensive tests.i was really mad after he refused to fill my prescription, he obviously doesnt understand IBS at all. My internist gave it to me right away. i will see a different Gi after the first of the year too. i just dont feel a colonoscopy is necessary, since i had been diagnosed 9 years ago.
