I find fennel tea helps - I drink it throughout the day as well as after meals. Also, keeping gently active, especially after eating, makes a difference. Sitting for a long time after eating is not good for me. I also take digestive enzymes before meals, and drink an infusion of fresh ginger root steeped in hot water.(I think that is the USA you can get a tea called Ginger Aid Tea, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available here in the UK).I also try to eat slowly and chew every mouthful thoroughly (but I don't always remember to do this, especially at work when I'm talking while eating!!) HTH.
